Mrs. VanFossen is no stranger to St. John the Baptist! She is a  lifelong SJB parishioner !  After attending SJB for elementary and middle school, she attended BLHS and then graduated from IU Bloomington with a degree in Journalism. She then got her Education degree in 6-12 ELA at IPFW!  

This will be her first year at SJB! Before having kids, she taught 7th grade at Indian Springs Middle School.  She has spent most of the last 18 years as a substitute teacher for SJB and BLHS and has made a positive, lasting impact on the students she has come in contact with throughout the years. 

Married for 20 years, Mrs. VanFossens has two kids- a Freshman at Purdue University (West Lafayette) and a Sophomore at BLHS. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, listening to music, walking her two adorable dogs, and hanging out with family and friends.
